Dear Friends,
Warm greetings in this mostly underground season of deep snow, thick icicles, and criss-crossing creature tracks. Here in the Catskills, all of this and more holds me close — by the fire, with my body that is in service to so-meaningful-much, and with the cross-hatched aches of terror and beauty shading everything.
KINSHIP: Bodies of Belonging winds through this second winter season with gallery shows, community events, and a mini-retreat. Would love to see you soon!
COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS
Our second seasonal gathering is approaching! Welcoming you to Blue Deer Center for a Special KIN Event. Within the larger Kinship project, these community conversations are part demonstration, part experiential wander, and part sharing/discovery. Our mid-winter event is part two in a series of conversations that contribute to dance-making; a culminating interactive performance will take place in late 2026.
LIGHT-HEARTED DARKNESS
A Lunar New Year Gathering and Somatic Arts mini-Retreat immersed in the beauty that nourishes and enlivens — particularly in darkness. This mini-retreat is grounded in body-centered practices that span nervous system rehabilitation, natural world connection, and generative creativity. All levels of experience welcome. What do we do with all this dark? Find our ways of glowing in it.…Join Me!

GENEROSITY & GRATITUDE
This winter, I received support that enabled me to replace an 11-year old laptop and a 10-year old printer, among other key upgrades to support my abiliity to grow & share my work. Thanks to my Dad for teaching me how to use a circular saw, one more tool in my metaphorical belt! Thanks to all the friends, family, colleagues, & beyond who lend themselves in care and encouragement as I walk this beautiful edge of being-becoming. I can only do this with, and within, the companionship of each of you. Thank you for you!
Key donors warming me through the Winter: Stacey Lamendola, Andrew & Mindy Ascosi, and the W. P. Carey Foundation. Thank you to Kate for taking me up on a secret-spice skills-exchange. Ongoing thanks to Blue Deer Center, the Sacred Fire Community, and to Millicent Young.
Ongoing gratitude to The Field, a 501(c)(3) artists organization, which enables tax-deductible individual & company donations on my behalf. You can support my heart-work here.
Thank you to all who take the time to dive deeper with me ~ your presence & participation mean so much. If you feel moved in any way to respond, I would love to hear from you.
In Joy,
Jeni
